Part of my book
Sep 29th 2008, 03:05 PMThe first day of High school. Every student was nervous and excited especially Cathy Butler. She was different from the others, more things were in her head, she was more thoughtful, energetic, and even weird. She was interested in magic, death, witches, trolls and goblins. Her dream was to fit in the normal school life but she has known that this will not happen. As long as she had arrived at the school she started looking around the building, snuffing for clue. She knew that was just a school but her sense was telling her that something wasn’t right. While she was imaging things the bell rang. Cathy could believe it, running fast she could she finally reaches the freshmen classroom. Miss Butler took a deep breath and carefully opened the door. At first she slowly looked at the teacher, who was a fat woman with round glasses. Her name was Miss Fillster. The teacher’s eyes were red; in them Cathy saw the evil that she was preparing for her. For two seconds was a frightening silence but it was ruined by the cheerleader Sam:
_ Hi, Miss Fillster. I want to talk to you about my low grade on the biology test. My father will close the school if you don’t do something like, I don’t know, change it!
The evil teacher has changed since the girl said ‘close the school’. Miss Fillster made the “puppy dog face’, grabbed the paper Sam was holding and momentarily changed her grade from C to A+. The cheerleader was happy. Cathy was curious how Sam had manipulated the teacher. When Sam tried to exit the classroom she punched Cathy in the stomach. Miss Fillster just glanced through Cathy’s white soft face quickly. The class was laughing at the weird girl. She was so embarrassed that she ran through the empty hall and locked herself in the girls’ bathroom. Cathy didn’t care what the consequences of her manner were. She was just hoping the make up won’t melt because of her stupid tears. She wasn’t expecting all the horrible things that she had to face on her first day at school.
The clock was tick- tacking, the school was over. Everyone has left it except Cathy. When she heard the bell rang she got out of the bathroom to the school gym. She was planning to pay back for the mean thing that Sam did. She crept and got to the girls’ locker room, quickly found Sam’s locker and unlocked it. It wasn’t hard to find because that was the only one painted in pink with big glowing letter ‘AM THE COOLEST SAM ‘. Cathy put in it rotten eggs and a note that says how much she hate her. She thought that was enough for the cheerleader so she locked the locker and left the school.
On her way home Cathy was thinking about everything that had happened today, and hoping for better – tomorrow. By the time she got home her parents had received a phone call from the school principal. She tried to explain her behavior but they didn’t believe a single word she has said. Cathy was grounded for the rest of the week. She was furious, glared her mother and went to her room. It was too much pressure for her and she started crying. It was awhile when she realized that the tears won’t help her. Cathy got up from her bed and grabbed her favorite comic about witches and dark magic. She really enjoyed reading about paranormal and beyond believable stuff.
