The name of your medicine is Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease . It is available as powder in a bottle for preparation of a lemon flavoured syrup. When prepared by the pharmacist, each 125mg/5ml bottle contains either 60ml or 100ml of suspension. When prepared by the pharmacist, the 250mg/5ml bottle contains 100ml of suspension. Each 5ml spoonful of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease contains either 125mg or 250mg of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease as Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease trihydrate. Each bottle also contains sodium benzoate Ph.Eur. (E211), disodium edetate Ph.Eur., sodium citrate anhydrous, lemon flavour powder, quinoline yellow (E104) and sucrose Ph.Eur. The active ingredient in this medicine is Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease . This is the new name for amoxycillin. The ingredient itself has not changed. Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease is stable in the presence of gastric acid and is rapidly absorbed after oral administration. The effect of food on the absorption of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease from the tablets and suspension of AMOXIL has been partially investigated. The 400-mg and 875-mg formulations have been studied only when administered at the start of a light meal. However, food effect studies have not been performed with the 200-mg and 500-mg formulations. Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease diffuses readily into most body tissues and fluids, with the exception of brain and spinal fluid, except when meninges are inflamed. The half-life of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease is 61.3 minutes. Most of the Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease is excreted unchanged in the urine; its excretion can be delayed by concurrent administration of probenecid. Oral administration of single doses of 400-mg chewable tablets and 400 mg/5 mL suspension of AMOXIL to 24 adult volunteers yielded comparable pharmacokinetic data: Microbiology: Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease is similar to ampicillin in its bactericidal action against susceptible organisms during the stage of active multiplication. It acts through the inhibition of biosynthesis of cell wall mucopeptide. The MIC values should be interpreted according to the following criteria All patients with gonorrhea should have a serologic test for syphilis at the time of diagnosis. Patients treated with Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease should have a follow-up serologic test for syphilis after 3 months. Drug Interactions: Probenecid decreases the renal tubular secretion of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease . Concurrent use of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease and probenecid may result in increased and prolonged blood levels of Dosage Amoxicillin For Lyme Disease
