Did you know, what you can do, maybe even faster, with keyboard shortcuts?

You can access lots of commands by pressing multiple keys on your keyboard. Below is a short list of the most important commands that you can use, and that aren't dependent on your interface language.

Global shortcuts: ‌
[Ctrl] + [I‍]: Open/Minimize the contact list. (If opening the message window on message receipt is not set up in the options, Open the last received unread message)

Main window: ‌
[F2]: Rename selected Contact/Group
[F5]: Add Contacts
[Del]: Delete selected Contact/Group

Message window: ‌
[Ctrl] + [B‍]: (Un)set Bold font
[Ctrl] + [I‍]: (Un)set italics font
[Ctrl] + [U‍]: (Un)set underlined font
[Ctrl] + [E‍]: Quote last sent message
[Ctrl] + [R‍]: Quote last received message
left [Ctrl] + [Shift]: Change text direction to left-to-right
right [Ctrl] + [Shift]: Change text direction to right-to-left

[Alt Gr] + right [Shift]: Switch to next keyboard layout

[Alt Gr] + left [Shift]: Switch to previous keyboard layout
[Ctrl] + [Page Up]: Switch to last open message session tab
[Ctrl] + [Page Down]: Switch to next open message session tab
[Ctrl] + [Tab]: Switch between open message session tabs

If it's for languages like Arabic or Hebrew, this should be tied to the currently selected language! Do you realise how easy it is to accidentally trigger this feature? And there's no way to undo it from a menu - so you'll be left searching the web (as I just did) to find a way to turn it off.

Stop adding new toys and get the basics right.

@TheWerewolf: It is tied to the language settings. However, some people might want to switch it, because they write English with some people, and Hebrew with others for instance. This is a feature of Internet Explorer which is used by the ICQ software, by the way.
