Hard decision: Should I call him? Or should I ignore him?

Yesterday I went to the city as usual to look for some new books. And I found this book.  As I turned back to buy it, I crashed into the sixpack of  a cute blonde guy. After apologizing him, for "standing in my way", he told me, that he had read the book, whichone I held in my hands, told me, it is a good story and gave me his phone number, with the advise to call him, when I´ve got time for a date. Than he left.

I´m a little bit confused. Was it his plan or really just a little accident. Why does he went out of the bookstore without buying anything or looking around?

And finally... Should I call him and asking him for a date?
