Your ICQ Number
In the past, users of ICQ got a Unique Identification Number (known as "UIN" or "ICQ number") after completing their ICQ registration. The ICQ number was used for signing in to the service. For your convenience, ICQ now enables you to easily register with your email address, so you can sign in with your email instead of using your ICQ number. If you still want to know your ICQ number, go to "Menu" -> "My tools" -> "Edit my profile". The ICQ number appears in your ICQ profile next to your picture.
The "Send" Button
Further to users' requests, ICQ is now working
on a version update to bring back the "Send" button to the message window.
Security Settings
In order to keep your ICQ account safe, ICQ recommends some safety tips to follow: 1. Choose a password that contains a combination of upper case letters, lower case letters and numbers. 2. Validate your email after completing your registration to ICQ, so you can reset your password easily and quickly if needed. If you don't receive the validation email, check your "spam" or "junk" mailbox. Once you receive the validation email, click on the link inside to complete the email validation process.
