Therefore different versions of the ICQ software may not include certain features, functions or services that may be available on other versions of the ICQ software.
If you encounter any problem or have any question regarding this version of the ICQ software,

Run The Installation Program
- Keep your dialer running and stay connected to the Internet.
- Shut down all other applications.
- Find the downloaded file on your desktop (icq351.exe).
- Double-click on it to start the installation process.
If you couldn't find the file on the desktop and/or you were not prompted to save the file:
- Click the windows Start button.
- Select Find
- Select Files or Folders.
- In the dialog box type icq*.exe in the Named field
- Click the Find Now button.
- The search process should now begin.
If the file is found, it will be listed in a window below the find dialog box.
If you see the file icqsetup.exe or icq351.exe, double-click it and read on. If you don't see such a file, restart the download process.
Note:
If you failed to shut down some application before starting the installation process,
you may encounter a Fatal Exception Error during or at the end of the installation process. No harm is done,
In most cases you will be able to continue to the registration process - try to continue.
If you can't register after this error occurs, restart the installation process.
If you still can't register - download the file again.

Follow The Registration Instructions
Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
Follow the registration instructions which will start right after the installation process,
this will register you as an ICQ user on the ICQ servers.
