You can enable/disable sounds for different event notifications.
If you want to stop all sounds or specific ICQ sounds, follow these steps*:

Click the Main menu and then Options.

Choose Tweak My ICQ from the Customization tab.
- In the right pane there is the "Sounds" list. Now make sure any event for which you want / do not want a sound notification is checked or unchecked.
*You can also disable all sounds by choosing
Silent from the
Select sound mode dropdown list.
