IrCQ-Net. You will see chat topics available on IrCQ-Net. Select the topic of your interest.

Before joining a chat you have to fill in your nickname. You can either accept the nickname which is automatically given to you by ICQ, or enter any other nickname. Use your own nickname if you want people to recognize you.

The next step after filling your nickname is selecting the interest you want to join a chat in. When you click on a topic a pop up window will appear. This is the IrCQ-Net applet window, already opened with the chat room of your interest.
