Browse the
Interest Groups . When you find a group category you're interested in, click it. You will be presented with all the available ICQ Interest Groups in that category. You may sort the groups by date, by number of members or by name, to make your search easier. When you select a group you wish to join, click it.

When you have entered a group you want to join, the group's entrance page will display, showing the listed group members, recent messages and the group's details. Click Join This Group. If the group is Public, you will automatically be added.
Note: If you haven't previously logged into the ICQ Interest Groups, you will first be directed to the Login to ICQ Interest Groups page.

If the group is Private, when you try and join the group, you will be prompted to enter a request for the group, master to approve. Once you have been added by the Group's master or operator, the group's entrance page will display, showing the listed group members, recent messages and the group's details.
