Yes, you can. In order to send SMS messages to non-ICQ users you need to add the user to your Contact List.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Menu and select Contacts > Add contact .
   
   
2. In the Add Contact window, from the Select contact type list, select Phone contact .
   
   
   
   
3. Enter your Nick friend's name and Cellular phone number and click Add.
   You can find the new contact under the Phone Contacts group.
   
   
4. You can now double click the phone icon in the Contact List to send the SMS message.
