You can enable/disable sounds for different event notifications.
If you want to stop all sounds or specific ICQ sounds, follow these steps*:
- Click Menu > My tools > Settings.
- In the Settings window, click Tweak My ICQ in the Customization list on the left.

In the right pane you will find the "Play sound for" list. Make sure any event for which you do not want a sound notification is unchecked.

Click OK.
*You can also disable all sounds by checking the Select all box.
