Send Message - Send your friends instant messages.

Send / Get File - Send a file to another user via ICQ. A file can only be transferred
when both you and the recipient are online. With Shared Files, you can get
files from your friend's shared directory.

Send Email - Send an email to an ICQ Contact List user. Set your email preferences from the Main menu, click Preferences. Choose the Email Preferences heading. From the Send Email Options tab, you can set ICQ to send email using your default email client. Once your preferences are set, use this feature to send emails and add new email addresses to your address book.

Send Web Page Address (URL) - Share your favorite Web sites with other ICQ
users. Web Page Addresses (URLs), like messages, can be sent to online or
offline users.

Send/Start ICQ Chat - To start a chat session right-click the contact's name and choose Send/Start ICQ Chat, fill in a subject for the chat ,and click Send. After the other party accepts the chat request, ICQ will connect you and display the chat window.

Launch ICQ Video - To start a video chat with another person on your Contact List, right-click the name of the person. Choose Launch ICQ Video. The other party will receive an Incoming ICQ Video Request screen, which they can either accept or decline

ICQPhone - To make an ICQPhone call to another ICQ user on your
Contact List, right-click the name of the person. Choose ICQPhone. You can place a PC to PC call or Launch the ICQPhone client. A list of available calling options will appear depending on what phone numbers that user or you entered in the user's User Details/Address Book. More Info

Send SMS Message - SMS, Short Message Service, is a technology to send text messages
to and from cellular phones. This integrates ICQ with SMS technology and is currently available with
cellular phone providers supporting this feature. More info

Send/Request Contacts - Send parts or all of your Contact List to other
users so that they can add your contacts to their own Contact Lists. With
Request Contacts you can have your friends send you all or part of their Contact
List.

Send Greeting Card - The ICQ Greeting Card feature enables you to make and

Message History - If you save your History, this feature lets you view the history of incoming
and outgoing events (Messages, URLs, Files) for the user you have selected quickly and easily.
Note: To activate the History feature, click Main -> Preferences -> History Alerts & Sounds -> Save Message History

User Details/Address Book - View the details provided by the user on the ICQ Global Directory.

User's Unified Messaging Center - This will send you to the user's Unified Messaging Center, which will
show you all the ways you can contact him/her.

Move to Group - This feature will move your contact to another contact group (i.e., from Family to Co-Workers).
This feature is available only in Contact List Group mode which is activated by clicking the Contact List Group icon.

Rename - Change how a user's name appears on your Contact List.
Note: This will change the user's name only on your Contact List. The user you rename will not see the change.

Delete - Remove a user from your Contact List.
|
 |
User's Unique Settings - This feature enables you to customize the communication options
with each user on your Contact List.
|
 |
"Icon on Top (On)" - You can use this option with specific users on your Contact List, so that their names always appear on your screen even when the ICQ program is minimized.
