The Shortest Way to Make A Connection
You can now contact ICQ users directly from the various services and search result pages we have on the ICQ Web site.
These Web features enable you to send an ICQ message directly from the web using the following buttons:
 Add Me |
Click to add a user to your Contact List or join a chat room.
A dialog will appear telling you if
you were added to the list and that the user was added to your Contact List. |

 Message Me |
Click to send a message to a user.
Write your message on the Send Online Message
dialog that appears and click on Send. |
 Chat Me |
Click to initiate a chat with a user or chat room. Type in your request in the Send Online Chat Request dialog that
appears and click on Send. |
 Page Me |
Even if you are not an ICQ user, you can contact an ICQ user through the ICQ Unified Messaging Center
by clicking this button. |
 Online/Offline
Status |
See whether the user is online,  offline, or  disabled his/her status indicator.

* The events you initiate will have your name on it and the return address for the message or chat
request. This way the person on the other side will know how to reach you.
Enable People to Easily Contact You Through the Web
Update your ICQ User Details to enable people to contact you through the Web with the ICQ shortcut buttons:
Enter your ICQ Number whenever you post a message on the message board or request a chat.
The relevant information for paging you, sending you a message, chatting with you etc.,
will be fetched from your personal details via your ICQ Number and
the buttons will automatically appear enabling visitors to respond online.

offers options for people to easily contact you, including the ICQ
shortcut buttons. Even non-ICQ users can contact you through the ICQ Unified Messaging Center.
When you're traveling, on the run, or just away from your ICQ, you can still reach ICQ users from their ICQ Unified Messaging Center:
