The ICQ Meet People search engine is the ultimate search engine for finding a person or specific
group of people in the ICQ directory listings. This search engine offers a large number of search
configuration options that may help produce the best possible results for finding the person or
group that you are trying to locate. New! Search for your friends by keyword!
To begin a search in the ICQ Meet People search engine:
- Click the Find Users button to display the following dialog.
OR, alternatively
- Click the Services button in the ICQ Window.
- Select ICQ Meet People.
- Choose Search ICQ Meet People to display the following dialog.
How to Search
- Enter your search criteria.
You can find online and offline users through the following search criteria:
- Gender, Age, and Country
- First, Last, and Nickname
- Language, City/State & E-mail
- Company, Department, Occupation, and Position
- Organization Type
- Interests - Search for a user by his topics of interest.
- Homepage
- Affiliation/Organization
- Past Affiliation - Search for a user by using keywords that may be
related to the user’s past.
- Keyword search
- Click the Search button to begin your search.
You also have the following options:
- Click the Stop button to stop your search.
- Click the Clear button to begin a new search.
- Check the Show Only Online Users check box to request that the results of your search
will show only online users that fit the description of your search.
You can save and load your favorite Meet People directory search by clicking the
 button.
You can also view your own personal information by clicking the
 button.
Once you have the results, click on a user's name to:
- Add To Contact List.
- User's Details - View the user's ICQ personal info.
- Send a Message.
- View User's ICQ Page - View the user's Unified Messaging Center which
includes all the ways you can communicate him/her.
