Configuring HTTPS firewall for the ICQ program |
HTTPS will not be able to carryout peer to peer connection.
This means that a web proxy (client) may relay a request to the web servers, but it will
not be acknowledged by the servers, therefore no answer will be given to the information request.
- Open the ICQ Menu and select Preferences.
- Select the Connection feature.
- Click on the Firewall Tab.
- For HTTPS Host insert server name.
- For HTTPS Port insert the port number.
- Place a check mark in the Use proxy to resolve hostnames check box if required.
- Click the Apply button.
