Here you can find random online ICQ users to chat with, and make yourself available for
random ICQ chats:

Find Random User |

- Click the Status button.
- Select Random Chat.
- Choose Find Random User.
A dialog will appear with the Finding tab.
- Click the drop-down menu of chat groups, and
select the chat group you would like to join.
- Click Find a Random Online Chat Partner.
The dialog will retreive for you the details of your Random Chat Partner.
If you like to chat with this partner you have three options (on the bottom):
- Request a Chat
- Send a Message
- Send a URL
If you would like to find someone else to chat with, simply click the Find a Random Online Chat Partner
button again.

Choosing this option will mark you in the ICQ servers as "ICQ users available for random chat".
This will enable other ICQ users searching for a random chat partner to find you through the ICQ servers.

My Random Chat Settings |

This tab enables you to insert details of your interests so, for example, if you're interested in
extraterrestrials and you state this in your interest details, another ICQ user who shares your
interest in extraterrestrials will find you and chat with you. To configure your settings:
- Click the status button.
- Select Random Chat.
- Click My Random Chat Settings.
A dialog will appear with the Details tab.
- Enter your personal details.
- Check the box marked I Want to be available for Random Chat& Messages
- Select a chat category from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
Your details are now saved so the next time you choose to be available for random chat
you won't have to fill in your interest details again.
If you wish to change your details simply follow the same steps.

Find a Random Chat Partner |

- Click on the Add/Find Users Button on the ICQ window.
A Add/Find Users on the ICQ Network menu is displayed.
- Select Find random chat partners
The Find a Random Chat Partner tab will open.
- Click Find a Random Online Chat Partner. When you get the results initiate a chat.
