	ICQ Whitepages Search Engine

The ICQ Meet People Search Engine is the ultimate search engine for finding a person or specific group of people in the ICQ directory listings. This search engine offers a large number of search configuration options that may help produce the best possible results for finding the person or group that you are trying to locate.

To begin a search in the ICQ Meet People Search Engine:

Click on the ICQ button in the ICQ window.
Select the Find/Add Users tab
Click on the Meet People tab to display the following dialog.

OR, alternatively

Click the Services button in the ICQ Window.
Select ICQ Meet People.
Choose Search Meet People to display the following dialog.

You can find online and offline users through the follow search criteria:

Name & E-mail tab
Personal Information tab
Location tab
Occupation and Company tab
Interests tab
Past Information tab
Affiliation/Organization tab

Check the check box beside the tab button of the individual tabs that you want to insert search details into.
Click the individual information detail buttons to display the specific tabs relating to each button.

Name & E-mail
To search for a person by name and e-mail fill in one or all the following fields in the Name & E-mail tab:

First Name
Last Name
Nickname
E-mail

Personal Information
To widen or focus your search for an individual, fill in the field boxes in the Personal Information tab:

Age Range
Gender
Language

Location If you are searching for a user by his location, fill in the fields in the Location tab:

City
State
Country

Occupation and Company
To search for a user by his/her occupation and company fill in the fields in the Occupation & Company tab:

Name
Div/Department, that the person works in.
Nature of Occupation, select an occupation from one of the occupations listed in the drop down list.

Interests

Select a topic
Select an Interest, subject from the (topic names)
Enter a Keyword, for (topic name)

Past Information
Search for a user in the Past Information tabs by using keywords that may be related to the users past. Select a Past Category from the drop down list, for example, high school, military, and enter some keywords in the description dialog to focus or widen your search.

Affiliation/Organization
Search for a user by inserting the name of an organization or affiliation that the person may have with. In the Affiliation/Organization tab enter some free text in the description dialog to widen your search.

To begin your search:
Once you have inserted search details for the Meet People search tabs click the Start Search button to begin your search.

Click the Stop button to stop your search
Click the New Search button to begin a new search
Check the Show Only Online Users check box to request that the results of your search will show only online users that fit the description of your search.

Once you have the results, click on a user's name to:

Add To Contact List
Add To Address Book
Info (get user's info)
Send a Message
View User's Homepage
