Take a Break From Certain Contacts
When you'd rather not let contacts know you're online, here's how you can hide:
Click the contact's name, then Alert/Accept Modes -> Status -> Select Invisible to User. More >
Note: You need to be in Advanced mode to make users invisible.

Block Out Unwanted Users
To block a contact quickly:
Click Main -> Security & Privacy Permissions -> Ignore List and drag the name that's giving you trouble from your Contact List into the Ignore List. More >
