With the introduction of this service, Hutchison's Orange subscribers who are ICQ users are enabled to access the ICQ service via any SMS-enabled handsets and begin sending and receiving instant messages from their SMS-enabled phones with friends, family, and business associates who are connected from a PC, mobile phone or other wireless device -- wherever they may be.
Orange users on ICQ will have access with any SMS enabled phone to many of ICQ's convenient features, including viewing the availability of friends, family and business associates, as they are accustomed to with the ICQ PC client. They can also add and delete wireless contacts, set alerts to show when their wireless contacts are online, reject messages from specific users, get users' details and retrieve their own ICQ settings on their mobiles.

Orange Instant Messaging SMS -- ICQ is free of charge for all incoming SMS, whether local or overseas. The charge is HK$1 for each local outgoing SMS.
Orange SMS package subscribers can enjoy up to 300 free SMS messages for a monthly charge of HK$58, and each message sent will be deducted as 1 SMS. For details please refer to the attachment.
