What are the icons next to my friends' user names?
There are two types of icons that appear next to your friend's user name. The large icon, usually in the shape of a flower, on the left
of the user name is their availability status. On the right-hand side of the user name, small icons show that you have a history of messages saved for that user and that an SMS number has been input for the user.
The following are a list of the icons and what they mean:
Availability Status
Available: indicates to others that the user is online and available for contact.
Away: user is online, but away from his/her computer.
N/A (Extended Away): user is online, but away from his/her computer for an extended period of time.
Occupied (Urgent Msgs): user is online, yet occupied.
DND (Do Not Disturb): user is online, but does not wish to be disturbed.
Invisible: user is online, but will appear offline to others. User can still converse with and receive messages from other users.
Logout/Offline: user has disconnected; or, if connected, this enables user to disconnect.
Message/Profile Status
Signifies that you have input an SMS number for this user. It will be shown only locally.
A message History exists with this user. By Tapping this icon you will be asked whether or not you would like to delete the history of messages with that user. This icon will disappear when you erase the message history.
To set your own availability status:
Click on the button showing the Available option (by default) on the Availability Status menu and choose a status from the drop down list.
