You can edit profile information such as your name, date of birth, and the "About me" section. You can also set an avatar and a nickname (i.e. the name on your messages in ICQ). You can link a mobile phone to your account and an email address to recover your ICQ password if you ever lose it.

To edit your profile, go to "Menu" and select "My Info".

After making your changes, enter your current password and click "Save".

Note that a new nickname will only be seen by contacts that you add after making the change. All of your existing contacts will see your old name.
