My Statuses
Your status consists of an icon and caption that you can set to let all of your contacts know something.
There are 6 standard statuses in ICQ:
— You're online and ready to chat;
— You're online, but you don't want to be disturbed;
— You're online and want to chat;
— Agent is shut down (you're not online);
— You're online, but you've stepped away from the computer;
— You're online, but only those who you've added to a special list will see you in their contact lists.
Click on your current status to select one of these statuses. Then choose the status that fits you.
In addition to using the standard statuses, you can create your own. To do this, click on your current status and select "Edit…".

In the window that appears, you can choose which of the statuses you want displayed in the main status window. To do this, check the desired status. By clicking the
"Arrow" icon, you can choose the icon you want for your status and enter any text you want next to the chosen icon. This text will be seen by all of your contacts.
