Mail.Ru Agent
To add a Mail.Ru Agent account to ICQ, do the following:
- enter its name in the "Email" field;
- select the mailbox's domain from the dropdown list (mail.ru, list.ru, inbox.ru, or bk.ru);
- enter the password.
To see if everything has been entered correctly, click "Test account". You will be informed if the test was successful.
If you previously ran Agent using this account, click "search for existing accounts" to avoid having to retype these account parameters.
If you want this account to connect automatically at the same time as the primary account, check the corresponding field.
If this option is not enabled, then the account will only connect manually. To do this, you will need to right-click on the account's current status and select the desired status.
If you want to always know about new mail arriving in mailboxes added to ICQ, then check "Notify about new mail".
When you are done making changes, click "ОК" — new contacts will appear in your contact list, and you can start chatting with them right away.
