To start chatting with Google contacts, enter the email address and password you use to sign in to Google.

To verify that what you entered is correct, click "Test account".

If you want this account to connect at the same time as the primary account, check the appropriate field.

If this option is not enabled, then the account will only connect manually. To do this, you will need to right-click on the account's current status and select the desired status.

You can use an encrypted connection to provide the best data security. To do this, check the appropriate option. 

Note that when chatting with GTalk contacts you will not be able to transfer files, make calls, create conferences, or play games .
