To start chatting with QIP users, enter the email address and password you use to sign in to QIP.

To verify that what you entered is correct, click "Test account".

If you want this account to connect at the same time as the primary account, check "Connect to the network automatically".

If this option is not enabled, then the account will only connect manually. To do this, you will need to right-click on the account's current status and select the desired status.

You can use an encrypted connection to provide the best data security. To do this, check the appropriate option.

Note that when chatting with QIP contacts you will not be able to transfer files, make calls, create conferences, or play games .
