Message history
If you have not disabled saving messages to your history in ICQ's application settings, you can always view your past correspondence.
To view your message history, open a conversation window with a contact and click "History".

Your message history will open.
You can view all messages, just received messages (i.e. messages that your conversation partner sent to you), or sent messages (i.e. messages you sent to your conversation partner). To do this, switch between the tabs above the conversation window.

To select a message, click on it. You can do the following with the selected message:
— the selected message will then be deleted from your history;
— the selected message will then be saved as an HTML file;
— the selected message will then be resent to the contact;
— copy the selected message to the clipboard to use later.
To do this, use the corresponding buttons.
You can also delete your entire message history or save it in a separate HTML file. To do this, use the
and
buttons.
If you want to find something specific in the conversation, then enter search terms in the search field and click "Find next". You can specify other search parameters as well – whether to search down or up, and whether to make the search case sensitive or not.
When you are done working with your message history, click "Close".
