Ignore my conversation partner's settings
If your conversation partner has customized his or her text formatting (background color, font size, font color, etc.), you will see these customizations too. But you can turn them off by clicking "More" and selecting "Don't show my conversation partner's text formatting".
Now all messages will be displayed in accordance with your settings.
