Contact list
To change how your contact list is displayed, go to "Menu" — "Settings" and select the "Contact list" tab.




View
- Always on top — checking this means that your contact list will be displayed on top of all other windows, i.e. your contact list will be visible no matter what other applications you've started;
- Show photos inside floating contacts — check this to display both the name and avatar;
- Show online contacts only — enable this option to have your contact list only display contacts who are currently online;
- Separate into groups — check this option if you want to split your contacts into groups;
- Separate into accounts — if you uncheck this, all of your contacts from all of your accounts will be put into one big list;

Show contact tooltips — if this option is set, you will see the following information when hovering the mouse over a contact:

- Show in the taskbar — if this option is enabled, ICQ will be displayed in the taskbar even if the conversation window is closed (Win7 only);
- Show user photos — if this option is enabled, users' photos will be displayed in the contact list next to their names.

You can have contacts be sorted alphabetically, by status, or by latest conversation. To sort you contacts, check the desired option."Sticking" to screen edges
This setting is similar to the Windows system setting — the window with your contact list will change based on the part of the screen you drag it to.
