Voice calls to a computer
Before making a voice call, be sure you and your conversation partner have connected and configured your microphones and headphones (or speakers). Using a headset or a USB phone is easiest.
To call a contact's computer, right-click on his or her name in the contact list, and in the menu select "Call a computer". You can also make a call from the conversation window by clicking "Call".

If sounds are enabled, you'll hear the call signal. If the person you're calling accepts the call, you can begin talking. If the person you're caline declines the call, you'll hear a click and see an appropriate notification.
By using the
button, you can turn off the microphone. Click on the button again will turn the microphone back on. The
button lets you mute the sound, and by dragging the slider on the sound control
, you can increase or decrease the volume.
To end the call, click
.
