Configure your SMS the way you want!
SMS (text messaging to cell phones) is a great way to send quick communications (up to 160 characters) to GSM mobile phones or ICQ.
In this section we help you:
Remove/Change Your SMS Signature
Your SMS signature is the footer that goes out with every SMS you send. By default it contains the following content: "From: your name, ICQ# your ICQ number."
For your contacts, the signature is a useful reminder of your details.
If you prefer to remove or change the signature, click -> Preferences & Security ->
SMS Messages (under Preferences) for the following options:

- To remove your outgoing SMS signature, clear the Add signature to outgoing SMS messages checkbox.
- To change your outgoing SMS signature in any way, just change the text in the signature text box. To use the default SMS signature again, simply click the
Default Signature text box.
Restore/Cancel SMS Received Notification
When you send an SMS message, some carriers will send you a notification when your message is successfully received.
If you would like to cancel this setting:
- Click
-> Preferences & Security -> SMS Messages
- Uncheck the box Notify upon message arriving to recipient.
- Click OK to save your settings and close the window, Apply to change your settings and continue, or
click Cancel to exit the dialog box without saving changes.
